Current Projects

• Southern California Edison (SCE) recently contracted with Walters Wholesale Electric Co., one of the California's largest distributors of electrical products, to implement a pilot rebate program for LED lighting products. This fast-track rebate program allows Walters Wholesale to provide deep discounts on LED bulbs and fixtures to most SCE customers. Moondance Management is working with Walters Wholesale to conduct audits, perform financial payback analyses, order and distribute LED lighting products throughout SCE territory.
• A restaurant chain noticed that a few sites were paying much higher utility bills than the average of the rest of their restaurants. They hired Moondance Management to review the utility bills, perform an on-site, end-use audit, measure and record the electric loads and determine if the utility's meters are faulty or if the restaurant is paying for other clients' electricity usage. Our monitoring services proved that tens of thousands of dollars were paid over several years to the utility for electricity not consumed by the customer.
• An electrical contractor responding to requests for proposals from governmental agencies has hired Moondance Management to assist them with the RFP response process.
• An energy services company in Ireland hired Moondance Management to perform a detailed energy analysis of over 200,000 small and medium business customers to determine potential energy savings from efficiency measures including LED lighting and controls.
• An energy services company in the Seychelles Islands hired Moondance Management to design and manage over 500 kW worth of solar PV systems at several hospitality and office facilities.
• Several hotels in Thailand hired Moondance Management to design guestroom controls to save energy and improve guest comfort.
• A regional energy management systems provider has asked Moondance Management to help them sell specific energy projects to specific markets in California by assessing the clients' needs and matching their services to those needs.
• An energy services company in the US hired Moondance Management to propose and manage LED lighting upgrades at over 20 million square feet of warehouse and manufacturing facilities throughout the US.
