Mani A. Sadeghi is a Managing Partner of Equifin Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm focused on the commercial finance, consumer finance, and related sectors of the financial services industry.   Mr. Sadeghi has been making private equity investments in the financial services industry since 1998 and was responsible for the founding investment in Newstar Financial by Capital Z Financial Services Partners.   Prior to founding Equifin, Mr. Sadeghi was Group President of AT&T Capital Corporation, where he led the specialty financial services business group, with profit and loss responsibility for a diverse group of commercial and consumer finance businesses with over $3 billion in assets.  In 1996, he was a principal in the $900 million management buyout of AT&T Capital, one of the largest such transactions in the industry.  Prior to AT&T Capital, Mr. Sadeghi was the Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development for General Electric Capital Corporation. Mr. Sadeghi began his career at Bain & Company.   Mr. Sadeghi earned an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar, and earned both a Bachelors degree in Economics and a Masters degree in International Policy from Stanford University.
