E. Scott Trefry

Scott Trefry joined the NewStar's Middle Market group from Banc of America Securities, LLC. where he worked as an Associate in the Media & Telecom group with the Corporate and Investment Banking groups. In this role, he originated, structured and executed senior debt transactions with a primary focus on media. Previously, Mr. Trefry spent four years with Fleet Bank's Media & Entertainment corporate banking group where he managed a $1.5 billion portfolio with over 16 clients. Prior to banking, Mr. Trefry spent four years working as a business analyst specializing in project management in the financial services industry.

Mr. Trefry graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. from Hamilton College and holds an MBA in Finance from Boston College.
