William P. Walsh

Bill Walsh joined NewStar in November 2006 from Greystone Business Credit where he was a Vice President in charge of Underwriting and served on Credit Committee. Prior to Greystone, Mr. Walsh worked for CapitalSource Finance as a Senior Investment Associate with responsibility for prescreening transaction, assisting in finalizing deal structures, negotiating terms sheets and finalizing loan documents. Before joining CapitalSource, Mr. Walsh spent six years with Wells Fargo Foothill where he was involved in the due diligence on prospective and existing high risk borrowers.

Mr. Walsh holds a B.A. in Marketing from Assumption College.
