Forward Slope Option
With a simple adjustment of a panel in the back of the chair, the seat pan is placed in a three position slant seat range of 0, 5, and 10 degrees. This option has two primary uses. First, it provides a significant margin of safety for the newly implanted hip. In combination with the adjustable back, hip angles close to 70 degrees are achievable. Second, for people who must sit in a chair for long periods, adjusting the seat pan will help prevent the lower back from becoming stiff.
