DENNIS CARBONI has been designing and building residential landscapes in the Boston region since 1990. He joined Bonnie Ulin Inc. at the start of 1998. With practical experience in construction, planting, and management, he has a deep sense of how a design can be delicately molded to fit a landscape and mirror an owner’s true desires. Growing up, going to school, and establishing a home - all within New England – have given him an understanding of how the region’s people live, work and play. He complements this with extensive knowledge of local plant ecology. His lifelong interest in design was reinforced through a B.A. degree in Art and Architectural History from Wesleyan University, and then solidified with a Master of Arts degree from the Conway School of Landscape Design in 1991. Dennis has been a judge on an environmental award committee for the New England Spring Flower Show and has given lectures and taught courses on ecological landscaping design.
MARK BENKLEY graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1987 with a B.A. in Art and worked for 4 years at the Nacul Architecture Center where he gained experience with both architectural design and construction techniques. In 1993, he received a M.A. in Landscape Design from the Conway School. Following graduation, Mark started a landscape design and build company that he ran for 6 years before joining the team at Bonnie Ulin Inc. in 1999. Mark is dedicated to the wisdom of good planning and to the value of carefully crafted living spaces. As a native of New England, Mark is at home in the local natural environments and encourages the preservation of our native ecology.
LISA GOLDBERG has been with Bonnie Ulin, Inc. as the Business Manager since 1999. She graduated from Goucher College with a B.A. degree in Biology.
