Our Products
COAST A multi-user, network expert laboratory management software system designed to administer the operations associated with a machine condition monitoring laboratory based on oil analysis. COAST implements the tasks of a fully functional oil analysis laboratory including sample logging, automatic data transfer, data storage and retrieval, automatic evaluation, graphical trending and reporting. The COAST software automatically captures data from analytical instruments. Interface send/receive programs are available for instruments purchased from Spectro Inc. including the Spectroil M series of rotating disk (RDE) spectrometers, FT-IR spectrometer, high-speed viscometer HSV-802, and Lasernet Fines. Additional fields are available for other tests. The COAST software provides permanent storage of historic sample point information for reference, comparison and reporting. Automatic analysis of results is based on decision-making Limits Matrix. The Limits Matrix includes severity coding for concentrations of wear metals, contaminant and physical properties of the used oil sample. The matrices also produce an alarm based on abnormal trends for any of the parameters being measured. The COAST Software allows for a unique Limits Matrix for each lubricating oil sampling point, however, most users will apply the same Limits Matrix to all similar machines in their condition monitoring program. A twelve (12) month telephone support contract is also included for the first year. Service contracts and virtual support is available and can be quoted on request after the warranty period.
