| BEFORE: The driveway led past overgrown shrubs, broken stairs, and a retaining wall that was collapsing. | |||||||

| AFTER: The driveway route to the garage was retained to minimize disruption to the pines sheltering the house. Driveway asphalt, front walk, tilting stone wall, and all shrubs were removed. These were replaced by a tumbled paver driveway, bluestone walk with driveway landing and stairs, a stone wall, and more textured and delicate understory planting. | |||||||
