Performing Dance Teams
The performing dance teams are an exciting outgrowth of NEDA The team dancers have competed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York and Virginia. Collectively they have won hundreds of first place awards. They have been honored with cash scholarship Awards, Top score awards, Top choreography Awards, Entertainment Awards and special Judges Awards. They have to their credits been named Overall Dance Champions from StarQuest, Dance Explosion, Bravo, Footloose, All American Talent, International Dance Challenge, On Stage America, and Dance Ovations Dance Competitions. Outstanding!!

The Selection Of Dance Teams
The faculty at New England Dance Academy are aware of the level of ability and dedication needed by a student to be considered for a competitive dance team. Competition is not a necessary outlet for all dancers, in fact, competition is offered to a minority of dancers at the Academy. You the parent and student may be assured that all classes are instructed in a manner keenly associated with the proper and appropriate dance technique by our professional staff.

It is our desire to see each student reach their potential whether they dance 1 hour per week or 10 hours per week. We will be happy to discuss your child’s progress at anytime. Please arrange for a private interview with your child’s instructor.
