Dalton Interiors is a full service design firm located in the historic community of Kingston, Massachusetts located 37 miles south of Boston and on the threshold of Cape Cod. Consultation Services include blueprint review, finish selection, color consultation, room arrangement and accessorizing, furniture and fixture selection, planning for downsizing, real estate enchancement, interior staging and interior redesign.

Verna Dalton established Dalton Interiors in 1981 in North Scituate, Massachusetts. In 1984, she moved the business to Kingston, Massachusetts where she maintains a studio at 11 Elm Street. In January 2000 Verna expanded her space to include a studio at 61 Summer Street, Kingston in association with Langenbach Fine Art and Antiques. Here her customers are free to browse a sampling of her product line consisting of many “designer only” resources. A designer is available on Wednesdays for consultation. An increasing number of fine lamps, rugs, fabrics, wall coverings, furnishings and accessories are shown at Summer Street. In home/office consultations remain by appointment.

Dalton Interiors assists in the procurement of fine home furnishings including custom window treatments, lighting, wall and floor treatments to furniture, art and accessories. Because many of her clients do a little at a time over the course of several or many years, quality is always stressed. After thirty years in the design profession and having witnessed many changes in the marketing of designer goods and services, Verna feels her longevity in the field is owing to a consistent work ethic of personalized service, product quality and attention to detail combined with a user-friendly approach.

The firm’s philosophy is that a relaxed well thought out approach to a project makes for both charming results and a pleasurable design experience.
