
Verna Dalton
Verna has been designing since receiving her interior design degree in 1973. She is an allied member of A.S.I.D, and has taught courses in interior design at Quincy College as well as lectured to various area community groups. She has participated in numerous Junior League Show houses and has had her work displayed at the Scituate Arts Festival, The South Shore Arts Center in Cohasset and at the Ellison Center for the Arts in Duxbury. Show houses she has participated in are the Duxbury Rural and Historical Society Show House and the Pilgrim Society Show House in the Pinehills. Recently Verna was asked to design for an episode of HGTV's "Designer's Challenge". It will be aired in 2006.
Verna enjoys serving her community in various capacities; most recently serving on the local Cultural Council and the Frederic C. Adams Heritage Center Development Committee.
Heather Dowd
Heather Dowd has 15 years experience in the interior design field, holds a dual degree in interior design and business and has worked in numerous areas within the design industry. Heather has been affiliated with Dalton Interiors since 2000. She has transformed many interiors with her design sensibility and expertise. I.R.I.S.* certified, Heather currently offers the firms' "One Day Redesign Service" which allows her the enjoyment of working with her clients and their existing design elements to reinvent their space on a budget. Heather offers consulting to local realtors and homeowners on home staging and "Design to Sell" techniques.
