"We couldn’t have been more pleased with the program at Agawam – from the wide variety of activities, to the high caliber of the staff, to the values instilled in the boys. At the beginning of the summer I was quite apprehensive at the thought of my ten year old son being away from home for seven weeks. Upon arrival, we were warmed by the friendliness and enthusiasm of both staff and campers. We were truly impressed with the boys (young, old, camper, counselor) going out of their way to greet us with hand shakes and introducing themselves. There was much evidence of caring and sharing among the boys and counselors. Thank you for taking such good care of my son. I thank you and your staff for your gentleness and compassion, your firmness and patience, and your dedication to keeping the traditions of Agawam."
