George's Story - 10 Mile Ride
"Today is the happiest day of my life!" exclaimed George Soerheide, 56, on his wedding day to Barbara Hovarth in June, 1993. It was a second marriage for both, but a normal marriage for them was not to be.
Pete's Story - 25 Mile Ride
Pete Farricker was diagnosed with ALS in the spring of 1999 when he was 43 years old. Pete was a member of the 1983 World Champion Ultimate Frisbee Team, a scratch golfer and two-time club champion.

In his 35 years, Scott Carlson has crossed the finish lines of triathlons, surfed off the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, skied the black diamonds of Jackson Hole, played guitar in a three-man band, and immersed himself in a career he loved. Scott Carlson has been a guy who knows how to live. Now he's learning how to die.
