tarlight Hospital Happenings are educationally and culturally based activities in the hospital, providing entertainment, arts and crafts, gifts and refreshments for pediatric patients and their siblings.       Each Starlight Hospital Happening has a different fun theme such as summer luaus, spring planting parties, origami parties, holiday parties, Halloween, Mardi Gras, sports parties with celebrities, sing-a-longs and more.       Starlight entertains hospitalized children at least five times a year in area hospitals.       "To hear the squeals of laughter and giggles of delight in hospital corridors is an unexpected sound, but one that is becoming more commonplace as Starlight waves its magic wand in more and more pediatric units.       Starlight’s wish is to be able to offer parties to more hospitals, find out how you can help.
