Executive Director

We are seeking a dynamic results oriented development professional with an entrepreneurial attitude to serve as our Executive Director. The Executive Director will be responsible directing the office operations and staff, working with the Board of Directors, executing the strategic plan, and creating and implementing a comprehensive development plan to raise funds for operations and programs. This individual will also have primary responsibility for all aspects of fundraising and public relations including annual campaigns, major gifts, memorials/tributes, grant writing, direct mail, special events, corporate giving, sponsorships, recruiting volunteers, grant writing, special events and developing a variety of internal/ external communications material.

The ideal candidate is imaginative and energetic, self-directed and able to handle multiple tasks/projects and priorities to deadlines. Requirements include minimum three years of Executive Director experience, experience in fundraising, including grant writing, major gifts and special events, and proven development track record. Must have strong interpersonal/communications skills, detail-oriented and organized. Must be computer proficient, able to travel and work occasional weekends and evenings. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree. Planned giving and Capital campaign a plus. Competitive compensation package available.
