C Pal is the next logical step in the development of in-hospital entertainment programs by Starlight. The unit will be available in our area very soon.        PC Pal is a mobile, high-performance computer with a flat-panel LCD screen that can be wheeled up to a bed or rolled to any other area of a hospital. It runs an assortment of fun and educational software, including games and a web browser.        The browser allows kids to access the Internet and the StarKids Network intranet created specifically for Starlight. With it they can also more easily communicate with family members and keep up with schoolwork.        It’s easy for kids with decreased mobility to use and it can really help them feel a lot les isolated!        Kids can play, communicate and commiserate with each other using special pen tablets.        Nobody likes to be stuck in a hospital bed. It no fun to be cut off from the rest of the world with not much to dwell on but how bad you feel. That’s why Starlight and cadre of top computer developers are working hard to bring the PC Pal to kids stuck in hospitals.        You can help donate a unit to a local hospital
